Ludhiana, June 16, 2023: The renowned literateur Dr Jaspreet Kaur Falak was honoured with International 'Indo-Thai Gaurav Samman' in recognition of her contribution toward Hindi poetry and literature.
The honour was bestowed on her in the Thailand Literature Festival, jointly organized by Thai-India Cultural Lodge (TICL), Thailand Hindi Parishad (THP) , and Sahitya Sanchya Shodh(SSS) at Bangkok, held on June 9-10. On this occasion delegates from different countries presented their poetic compositions. Chirafat, President of TICL , Sushil Dhanuka - President of THP, Shikha Rastogi (Executive of THP), Manoj Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Suman Rani (all from SSS) graced the Presidium.
A poetry session was held in which the participants enthralled the audience with their poetic compositions. The notable were Rama Sharma from Japan and Annu Purohit from Malaysia. Dr Falak, who was the only delegate from Punjab, rendited her latest poems and presented her research paper. Her new book of verses "Ishq Samandar" was also released on the occasion. She thanked the organizers for honouring her at this international platform.
