Jalandhar, January 25, 2025: Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, joy, and zeal at all five schools of the Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Noorpur Road, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, and Kapurthala Road), The theme of the celebration was "Golden India: Heritage and Development," and the school premises were beautifully adorned in the colors of the national flag.
A special assembly was conducted to inform students about the history and significance of Republic Day. They were educated about the adoption of the Indian Constitution and how it symbolizes India’s transition into an independent, democratic republic. The day commemorates the relentless efforts and sacrifices of the great freedom fighters of India.
On this auspicious occasion, students enhanced the patriotic spirit through various cultural programs. They delivered speeches, sang patriotic songs, performed role plays, and recited patriotic poems. Girl students paid homage to women freedom fighters through a role play depicting their significant contributions and sacrifices in the independence movement.
The IT Club presented a PowerPoint Presentation on Republic Day, showcasing India’s rich culture, the vision of "Golden India," and its glorious heritage. The Dance Department mesmerized everyone with performances on patriotic songs. The young ones of pre- primary school, dressed in the colors of the national flag, looked adorable. These little ones were shown a presentation about Indian culture and traditions, teaching them about the country’s diversity.
Teachers explained to students the importance of respecting the national flag and contributing to the nation’s progress. They encouraged students to fulfill their responsibilities towards the country and be active contributors to its development.
