Talwandi Sabo, November 28, 2014: Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering & Technology, a constituent college of Guru Kashi University (GKU), Talwandi Sabo organised Research Conclave 2014 today. Dr B.S. Dhaliwal, Dean Academics GKU was the Chief Guest at the occasion, whereas Satish Goswami, Registrar, was the special guest of the programme.
The Conference commenced with holy Vandna and by lamp lighting by the guests &  sessions chairpersons of the conference.
Dr Ashwani Sethi, Principal GGSCET welcomed all the guests, Chairpersons and the speakers. 
Keynote address was delivered by Dr. Manoj Kumar Goyal, of SLIET Longoval. He covered the salient points to be followed for accomplishing good research work and to excel in other fields in the life. 
Dr. B.S. Dhaliwal (Dean Academics, GKU) stated that this conference will give opportunities to young scholars to bring out innovative ideas and to improve their presentation skills. It will also further enrich the already existing research base at GKU.
Around 40 papers were presented by the scholars covering latest techniques in all the three sessions. These sessions were chaired by learned faculty of the region named Dr. R.K. Bansal, Dr. Ashutosh Pathak, Dr. Gagan Gupta, Dr. Madhuchanda Rakshit & Dr. Rajpal Singh.
Vice-Chancellor, Dr. N.S.Malhi congratulated all the organizers for this mega success in the field of Research & Development. He also assured that Guru Kashi University will provide the best possible support to the students’ community of the region far higher education and research & development activities.
Prof. Harpreet Kaur anchored the whole programme effectively.
