Research talk on 'Bank Regulations and Supervision Practices in India'
Dr. Nitin Arora, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, today delivered a research talk on 'Bank Regulations and Supervision Practices in India' during International round table conference arranged by the Asian Development Bank Institute, Japan, at Kathmandu, Nepal.

Chandigarh, October 1, 2024: Dr. Nitin Arora, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, today delivered a research talk on 'Bank Regulations and Supervision Practices in India' during International round table conference arranged by the Asian Development Bank Institute, Japan, at Kathmandu, Nepal.
Dr. Arora has been invited as country expert to represent India during the round table conference scheduled over October 1st-2nd, 2024. Representatives of Central Banks of all South Asian Countries have been invited along with one selected field expert from Academics from each country.
Dr. Arora presented his research on Indian banking regulations that shall be documented at ADBI level. He will also be chairing a technical session during the conference.
