Today being International Women Day is an opportunity to acknowledge the remarkable contribution of women in different spheres of life as they have really proved that they are capable of achieving anything, if opportunity is given to them without any gender bias. Today globally we witness women as top echelons, they equally participate as men in serving the country and in different fields like education, health, politics, space exploration, defense, banking sector, media, judiciary, executives etc and even as Nation heads. Rather on this day we must value the pivotal role that a women plays within the society, who through their grit and determination have made strides in every sphere of life.
It is the need of hour for our nation to emphasize the importance of the International Women’s Day with a aim to change the patriarchal mindset towards increasing sexual crimes against women and initiating collective efforts, making nation safe for women so that, the future of women remains bright, equal, safe, rewarding. We all must promote the cause of social equality and follow a determined slogan, “Empower women for growth and development of our nation”.
