RESULTS: 58th Punjab State Inter-District School Games

Ludhiana, October 21, 2012: Super league matches were played in the 58th Punjab State Inter-District School Games Basketball at Guru Nanak Stadium today.

In girls category, Mansa b Kapurthala with 43-8 points, Sports wing Amritsar b Kapurthala by 32-5 points and Mansa b Ludhiana District with the 52-8 points.

In the boy’s category, Amritsar b Patiala by 70-56 points and Ludhiana Academy b Muktsar by 77-57 points.

Meanwhile,in Kabaddi (Boys), Ludhiana, Bathinda, Sangrur, Faridkot, Mansa, Patiala and Feroezpur recorded win.

In Kabaddi (Girls), Mansa, Sangrur, Ludhiana, Barnala, Bathinda, Patiala, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar and Mansa slated victory.

In Kho-Kho (Boys): Mansa b Ferozepur, Roopnagar b Tarntaran. Sangrur b Kapurthala, Pathankot b Patiala; Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar b Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar, Moga b Ferozepur.

In Kho-Kho (Girls): Ropar, Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar, Muktsar, Amritsar, TarnTaran, Sangrur, Bathinda and Fazilka took the matches and recorded victory.

Bathinda secured first position in Gymnastic followed by Ludhiana and Muktsar (second and third, respectively) in Boys category. In girl’s category (gymnastics), Bathinda, Ferozepur and Faridkot secured first, second and third position, respectively.

In Wrestling (Boys) 30 Kilogram: Gurnam Singh from Ludhiana, Shankar from Mansa won the first and second place, respectively, Mastan from Mansa and Rajkumar from Faridkot won third position.

25-kilogram category wrestling, DC Ram from Ropar first, Sufi Mohammad second, Sukhpreet Singh from Sangrur and Shonki from Ludhiana third.

 In Long Jump (Girls), Jasvir Kaur from Ludhiana, Vishvajit Kaur from Amritsar and Sandeep Kaur from Mansa stood first, second and third. In boy’s category, Lovedip Singh from Amritsar, Lovepreet Singh from Fazilka and Manan from Fazilka secured first, second and third position, respectively.

 In 200 metres race (Girls), Jyoit Bala from Fazilka, Balwinder Kaur from Bathinda and Monica from Mansa stood first, second and third respectively. In boys category, Karan Malhotra from Ludhiana, Bikranjit Singh from Gurdaspur and Manpreet Singh from Fazilka secured first, second and third position respectively.

In football (boys), Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur, Ropar, Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar, Moga, Sangrur, Barnala and Hoshiapur won.
