Results of second rounds of (Day-1) League Matches

Mohali/Chandigarh: The Punjab State Inter District Under-16 years Tournament was started on 5th August, 2021. The second rounds of (day 1) League Matches were played at various District Headquarters and detailed results are as under:
Mansa VS Sangrur
Mansa VS Sangrur match was played at Khalsa College Ground, Mansa. Sangrur won the toss and elected to bowl first. Mansa batting first was bundled out for 111 in 48 overs. Kanishk Chouhan 43 with 7 boundaries and Niyush Mittal 42 with 6 boundaries and 1 six were the main run getters for Mansa.Sangrur in reply was 146 for 2 in 57 before the play was suspended for the day 1 in their 1st innings. Bakshish Singh 46 with 5 boundaries and 2 sixes, Gurjaap Singh 55 with 8 boundaries and 1 six and DivyanshPuri 36 with 3 boundaries were on the crease before the play ended for day 1.
FerozepurvsAmrirsar
Ferozpurvs Amritsar match was played at Gandhi Ground, Amritsar. Amritsar won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first Ferozepur was bundled out for 108 in 48.2 overs. VivekMahajan 48 with 8 boundaries was the main run getter for Ferozepeur. Sehbaj Gill 4 for 19, Varundeep 3 for 31, Jaskirat Singh 2 for 17 and Aviraj Singh 1 for 23 were the wicket takers for Amritsar. In reply Amritsar was 135 for 7 in 48.4 overs before the play was suspended for the day 1 in their first innings. Varundeep 51 off 74 balls was on the crease before the play ended for the day 1. Raghav Chouhan 4 for 44 and ParthGulati 3 for 27 were the main wicket takers for Ferozepur.
Fatehgarh VS Moga
Fatehgarh Sahib vs Moga match was played at Moga.Fatehgarh Sahib won the toss and opted to bat. Batting first FatehgarhSahib was bundled out for 127. Mithlesh Kumar 28 with 4 sixes and Sameerpal Singh 24 with 4 boundaries were the highest run getters for Fatehgarh Sahib. Harish Kumar 6 for 32 and Harman Jot Singh 2 for 30 were the main wicket takers for Moga. Moga in reply was 89 for 7 in 40.1 overs before the play was suspended for the day 1. Kavish Verma 4 for 30 was the main wicket taker for Fatehgarh Sahib.
FaridkotvsFazilka
Faridkot VS Fazilka match was played at Barjindra College, Faridkot. Faridkot won the toss and elected to bat first. Faridkot batting first was bowled out for 161 in 60.1 overs. Robin 35 with 7 boundaries and Rajyavansh Sekhon 27 with 1 boundary and 1 six were the main run getters for Faridkot. Vishal Narang 4 for 30 and Ashmit Watts 3 for 86 were the main wicket takers for Fazilka.Fazilka in their 1st innings was 77 for 5 in 31 overs before the play was suspended for the day 1. Vishal Narang 30 with 4 boundaries and Anirudh Grover 28 with 5 boundaries were the main run getters for Fazilka in first innings. SumitDholia and TanshuArya were on the crease before the play ended for day 1. Rajvansh 2 for 6 was the main wicket taker for Ferozepur.
 
Ludhiana VS Mohali.
Ludhiana VS Mohali match was played at GRD Academy Ludhiana. Ludhiana won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first Ludhiana was bundled out for 113 in 75.2 overs in their 1st innings..SavinayKakkar 44 with 1 boundary was the main run getter for Ludhiana. For Mohali Jashandeep 4 for 16, Karanvir 2 for 17 and Namit Veer 2 for 47 were the highest wicket takers for Mohali. Mohali in reply was 32 for 4 in 20 overs before the play was suspended for the day 1.Anmoljit 2 for 3 and ShabdTangri 2 for 6 were the main wicket takers for Ludhiana.
KapurthalavsNawanshahar
Kapurthala VS Nawanshahar match was played at Govt college ground, Kapurthala. Nawanshahr won the toss and opted to bowl first. Kapurthala batting first declared their first innings on 256 for 9 in 73.4 overs. Pranshu Partap 115 with 23 boundaries was the highest run getter for Kapurthala. Kunwardeep Arora 7 for 90 was the main wicket taker for Nawanshahar. Nawanshahar in reply was 39 for no loss in 23 overs before the play was suspended for the day 1. JatinBassi 21 and Himanshu Shankar 17 were on the crease for Nawanshahar before the play ended for the Day 1.
Patiala VS Barnala.
Patiala vs Barnala match was played at Trident Complex, Barnala. Barnala won the toss and opted to field first. Batting first Patiala declared their first innings on 287 for 9 in 90 overs. Prabhjit Singh 120 with 16 boundaries and 1 six and Damanpreet 43 with 1 boundary and 3 sixes were the main run getters for Patiala. Pravjot Singh 6 for 83 and NamanGarg 2 for 11 were the main wicket takers for the Barnala. In reply Barnala was 8 for 1 in 10.5 overs before the play ended for the day 1.
Guradspur vs Jalandhar
Guradspur vs Jalandhar match was played at Gurdaspur. Batting first Gurdaspur was bundled out for 49 in 31 overs.
The day 2 of play will resume at 9.00 am tomorrow.
