Resumption of BBMB Oxygen Plant result of joint efforts of all: MP Tewari
Says everyone has contributed at their own level to restart this oxygen space
Ropar: Member Parliament from Anandpur Sahib and former Union Minister Manish Tewari today expressed happiness over the reopening of his Oxygen Plant by BBMB Nangal Workshop after nearly 11 years and has congratulated all for this, which is the result of the joint efforts of all.
In a statement issued here, MP Manish Tewari said that everyone has contributed at their own level to restart this oxygen space. Tewari disclosed that he had met Punjab Assembly Speaker and MLA from Anandpur Sahib Rana KP Singh with Union Energy Minister RP Singh and raised the issue vigorously.
Similarly, he also approached the chairman of BBMB, after which the chairman of BBMB also hired the employees of the department at his level to start this oxygen plant.
Deputy Commissioner Sonali Giri called in some engineers from Calcutta and in collaboration with the Administration and Power Department, the oxygen plant has been restarted. He said that this would benefit not only the people of Ropar district but also the surrounding areas and this oxygen plant would still produce 50 cylinders per day.
