CLAIMS AND OBJECTIONS CAN BE FILLED BEFORE NOVEMBER 20
Ludhiana, November 12, 2017: Keeping in the view of forthcoming Municipal Corporation/Municipal Councils/Nagar Panchayats elections, The Election Commission of India has issued the programme for the revision of electoral rolls by keeping January 1, 2017 as the base.
While referring the letter of ECI, Additional District Electoral Officer cum Additional Deputy Commissioner Mrs Surabhi Malik informed that draft publication of electoral rolls would be done on November 14, claims and objections can be filled till November 20, all objections would be disposed off by November 27, 2017. Final publication of electoral rolls would be completed on November 28, 2017.
Mrs Malik appealed to people to make contact with respective Block Level Office for vote related work to be done. For more information people can contact district election office as well.
