RGC judo player Savitri clinches gold medal in inter university judo championship

Ludhiana: Another moment of proud occurred for Ramgarhia Girls College, with the end of the year 2019 when Savitri won Gold medal in 57 kg weight category in All India Inter- University Judo Championship held at Kanpur from December 22-24, 2019.
Savitri also won bronze medal in the Common Wealth Judo Championship held at Wallsall, England.
Principal Dr. Inderjit Kaur felt extremely proud in saying that the Department of Physical Education has always brought laurels to the institution and here is another one from Savitri at the end of this year.
She also added that the worthy coach Mr. Parveen Thakur and Dr. Rajeshwarpal Kaur, Head, Department of Physical Education have also remained very active to boost the morale of the players to overcome every hurdle and win with flying colours in every tournament that they participate.
