RGC proved their mettle in Karate Championship

Ludhiana, November 29, 2018: Ekta and Komal students of Physical Education Department of Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana proved their mettle once again by bagging gold and bronze medals in Inter-College Karate Championship held at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Whereas in Inter-College Judo Championship, Savitiri bagged gold, Kaushlya, Priya and Bablin kaur clinched silver and Geeta and Savitri won bronze medal. Students added another feather of glory by securing positions in North India Power Lifting Championship held at Dharmshala, Himachal Pradesh. In this Championship Palak Aggarwal won gold, Anshu Rani got silver and Gursimran Kaur bagged bronze medal. College secured Second Over-All trophy in Inter-College Judo Championship. S. Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council and Principal Dr.Inderjit kaur applauded the efforts of the faculty of Physical education Prof. Rajeshwarpal Kaur and Prof. Jasbir Kaur. She also wished them many more successes ahead. Judo Coach Parveen Thakur, Karate Coach Sanjeev and power lifting coach S. Gurpreet Singh were all praised.
