The road announced as one way to avoid traffic snarls
Ludhiana: For the convenience of visitors (including patients and their attendants) coming to DMCH, Traffic Police Administration and Managing Society of DMCH jointly declared road to DMCH as one-way. The road was announced as one way to avoid traffic snarls.
Police Commissioner Rakesh Aggarwal along with Secretary Prem Kumar Gupta presided over the inaugural ceremony.
In his message, Police Commissioner Rakesh Aggarwal said that DMCH is a premier medical institution of the region and it is mandatory for the City Administration and Traffic Police Department to maintain proper flow of traffic for patients and their attendants visiting DMCH.
Secretary Prem Kumar Gupta said that the problem of traffic congestion for visitors coming to DMCH has been quite here for a long time and the ‘Management’ would regularly discuss ways and means with the City Administration & Traffic Police Department to regulate smooth flow of traffic for patients and their attendants visiting DMCH.
In view of this new rule, the patients or their attendant can either come to DMCH either from Sheela Hostel side or from Kuka Diagnostic Centre lying on its opposite direction and outflow traffic will be allowed to move from road leading to DMCH Auto Parking.
Other senior officials of the Traffic Police Department including medical administrators of DMCH were present on the occasion.
