Rockstar twins to represent India at prestigious European Dance Championships
Tricity’s budding stars, Tanya and Tanisha, 14-year-old twin sensations of Rockstar Academy, are once again set to make the nation proud by representing team India in various world dance championships across Europe this summer. The dynamic duo will compete in four major events, bringing their exceptional talent to the international stage.
Chandigarh, Jun 7, 2024: Tricity’s budding stars, Tanya and Tanisha, 14-year-old twin sensations of Rockstar Academy, are once again set to make the nation proud by representing team India in various world dance championships across Europe this summer. The dynamic duo will compete in four major events, bringing their exceptional talent to the international stage.
According to Rockstar Academy director Sameer Mahajan, Tanya and Tanisha will first represent India in the World Dance Championship to be held in Budapest, Hungary, on June 12th to 16th, 2024; Dancing Italy, Italy on July 21st to 24th, 2024; Dance World Cup, Prague, June 27th to July 6th, 2024, and Global Dance Open, Netherlands, on July 9th to 13th, 2024.
Last year, the twins showcased their prowess on the international scene by winning gold medals at the championships in South Korea and Dubai, a testament to their exceptional skills and dedication, added Sameer.
The twins began their dance journey at the tender age of four and have been training under the prestigious Rockstar Academy, a Dance Training and Film Production Studio, which boasts of 18 studios in and around the city. Their training is guided by their talented choreographers, Sakshi Rauthan and Harpreet Dubey.
Rockstar Studios director Sameer Mahajan, who has been instrumental in providing international and national platforms for young talents, revealed that Tanya and Tanisha are not just fulfilling their dreams but are also striving to achieve the aspirations of their parents, Anamika Kashyap and Vinod Kumar, who dream of seeing them as the best performers in the world.
The twins will be accompanied by their mentors and their supportive mother.
