Today, the foundation stone of Des Raj Jairth Lions Blood Bank at Ludhiana was laid.
Ludhiana, February 17, 2013: Today, the foundation stone of Des Raj Jairth Lions Blood Bank was laid.
Among others, Naresh Aggarwal PID (international board appointee), Aruna Oswal (multiple co-ordination LCIF), Bharat Bhushan Ashu (MLA), Harish Dua (D G), K.M. Gupta (V.D.G. -1), Rajeev Goyal (V.D.G.-ii), K.S. Sethi (P.D.G), P.R. Jairth (chairman), Vinod Thapar (chairman, knitwear club) and Harish Kairpal (finance secretary, knitwear club) were present. The foundation stone has been laid along Hambran road, Ludhiana.
According to Harish Kairpal, the project is about Rs 5 crore. The project will be completed in the next two years. It will be one of the biggest blood banks in Punjab.
