Dharamsala, September 12, 2017: “The government of Himachal Pradesh has distributed 10,000 lap tops to the meritorious students of class 10 and 12 of the HP Board’s Exam this year", said Urban Development Minister of the state Mr Sudhir Sharma. He was addressing the public after inaugurating the additional building of the senior secondary school Jadraangal in Dharamshala assembly constituency built at the cost of Rs.22.11 lakh on Tuesday. He said that 2142 high and senior secondary schools of the state are equipped now with the mercenary of multi media and modern information & technology of studies system.
Sudhir said, "Rs.5,50 are being spent on the beautification of the Mata Chamunda Devi Temple.” He sanctioned Rs.1 crore to upgrade Badoi-Padhar road and Rs.2,50 crore for Badoi-Sakoli road of his constituency Dharamshala.
Minister also inaugurated Health sub centre at Kaned, and bridges on Gurlu Nala and Passu built at Rs.20 lakh and gave away Rs.2.5 lakh for repair of Panchayat Bhawan there.
Minister also laid a foundation stone for Manuni bridge to be built at the cost of Rs.91.07 lakh which shall give all weather connectivity to 6 remote villages.
Minister laid the foundation stones for Eco Park at McLeodganj,community park at Choran Khad and community centre at Cheelgari.
He also inaugurated a health sub centre at Dharamkot, the highest residential area in the city.
