Ryan International Academy Hinjawadi Celebrates Independence Day with Emmanuel Orphanage

Pune, August 20, 2024 : Ryan International Academy, Hinjawadi, marked Independence Day with a heartfelt celebration that united the school community and children from Emmanuel Orphanage. The event embodied the spirit of freedom, unity, and inclusivity, showcasing true patriotism.

The festivities commence with moving renditions of patriotic songs in Tamil and Bengali, highlighting India's linguistic diversity.  It was followed by an insightful street play exploring the meaning of freedom in contemporary society. A vibrant musical orchestra further enhanced the patriotic atmosphere.

Students presented a diverse array of regional dance performances, bringing to life India's rich cultural heritage through Marathi, Bihu, Gujarati, and Punjabi songs. A powerful role play honoring Maharashtra's freedom fighters served as the event's centerpiece, poignantly depicting their sacrifices and unwavering spirit during India's independence struggle.

The presence of children from Emmanuel Orphanage added special significance to the celebration, fostering a sense of shared joy and inclusivity. School staff demonstrated their commitment to the cause by collecting donations and essential items for the orphanage.
