Sagar Saharan of Hisar selected for Redbull Campus Cricket World Finals; to play in Dubai

Chandigarh, October 29, 2019: Sagar Saharan of DAV College Chandigarh will play in the Redbull Campus Cricket World Finals to be held in Dubai. The finals are taking place at the ICC Academy Dubai from October 27 to November 2, 2019. India will be represented by the DAV Team. Sagar Saharan, son of Rajender Kumar, headmaster and a resident of village Kumbha Kheda in Hisar district of Haryana. The teams from seven countries including Bangladesh, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, UAE, United Kingdom and Zimbabwe will vie for the title in Dubai finals. The cricket team of DAV College Chandigarh had earlier won this match in 2013. In the national finals, DAV Chandigarh had won by defeating Chennai. DAV College has a glorious history in cricket. This college has given India top players like Kapil Dev, Yuvraj Singh, Yograj Singh and Dinesh Mongia besides many others.
