SAI International Residential School Marks 6th Founder’s Day with Splendor

Hyderabad, December 20, 21 2023: The 6th Founder’s Day of SAI International Residential School (SIRS) was a vibrant celebration held on December 20 and 21, 2023, centered around the theme of Dashavatar. The festivities commenced with a lively athletic meet, setting the tone for the subsequent events. 

The day commenced with a warm welcome for the esteemed Chief Guest, Brijesh Kumar Rai, DIG and Additional Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar. He inaugurated the Sports Meet and highlighted the crucial role of sports and games in a student’s life. The Founder’s Day at SIRS featured a dynamic Sports Meet, showcasing track and field events, aerobics, and yoga drills at the grand sports stadium. Events like the 110 meters hurdles, boys' and girls' 100 meters races, relay races for both boys and girls, and the final 400 meters races added fervor to the day.

The Sports Meet was elevated to a new level with the gracious presence of Houda El Aisati, a renowned basketball player from Morocco. Her presence not only inspired the participating athletes but also highlighted the global significance of the Sports Meet, transcending borders and fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie. The students were privileged to witness and interact with such a distinguished personality, bringing an international flair to the athletic festivities.
The core theme, "Dashavatar," is intricately tied to Indian mythology and philosophy, symbolizing the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu. This thematic selection underscores the school's dedication to delving into cultural richness and nurturing a deep understanding of traditional values. Students from Classes IV to XII brought the Dashavatar to life through an expressive dance drama.

Day 2 of the celebrations on December 21, 2023, included a meeting between parents and teachers, and exhibitions of english and science projects, a cultural programme, Founder’s Trophy, and academic excellence awards. Parents witnessed the culmination of their children's efforts and achievements during these events.

The two-day conclave of the 6th Founder’s Day, themed ‘Dashavatar,’ concluded with a vibrant cultural event and the presentation of academic excellence awards to deserving students. The parents-teachers meet, and English and science project exhibitions added depth to the celebration, reinforcing the commitment to holistic education at SAI International Residential School.
