Sakra World Hospital launches pediatric emergency care center
A 24-hour pediatric care center to handle critical cases and pediatric emergencies of infants and children
Bengaluru, November 13, 2021: Sakra World Hospital, today, announced the launch of the first-of-its-kind Pediatric Emergency Care Center (PECC) that will handle critical cases and pediatric emergencies of infants of children in the city. The PECC will be led by senior doctors Dr. Rajath Athreya, Senior Consultant and HOD, Pediatrics & Neonatology and Dr. Bevin D'Silva, Consultant & HOD, Emergency Medicine. The center was inaugurated today by Mr. Aloysius D'mello Principal of Greenwood High International School in the presence of Mr. Naoya Matsumi, Deputy Managing Director, Sakra World Hospital.
The 24/7 pediatric emergency care center will offer comprehensive services and provide the highest quality trauma care for critically ill or injured infants and children through a multi-disciplinary trained team of specialists and paramedical staff, expert diagnosis, advanced medical technologies and detailed nursing care and is in par with global standards.
The Institute of Pediatrics Sciences & Pediatric Super specialty at Sakra World Hospital provides advanced services right from the routine OPD to emergency response, recovery and rehabilitation. The Paediatric team includes renowned Physicians, Intensivists, Neonatologists, and Surgeons all well versed in caring for kids with complex problems.
