Sandeep Kaur awarded with six months ICTP TRIL fellowship from Italy

Sandeep Kaur pursuing her PhD under guidance of Dr Neetu Chopra Jalandhar, July 14, 2019: Sandeep Kaur, Project Scholar of PG Department of Physics, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar has been awarded with six months ICTP TRIL fellowship from International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and ENEA, Italy. During her fellowship she will be working at Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA), Italy under the guidance of Dr.Mauro Falconeri. Sandeep Kaur is pursuing her PhD under the guidance of Dr Neetu Chopra, Associate Professor, KMV, Jalandhar. The topic of her PhD thesis is Rare Earth Doped Borotellurite Glasses and Nano-glass-ceramics. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Sandeep Kaur and the PG Department of Physics for this glorious achievement. She averred that the institution like KMV always give utmost care and attention to its each and every student and that this type of success of our students establishes the name of KMV at the global level.
