Ludhiana, April 22, 2025: Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Ludhiana (West) assembly constituency, conducted an intensive campaign across key areas of the city on Tuesday. His whirlwind tour covered Ferozepur Road, Rishi Nagar, Rajguru Nagar, Punjab Mata Nagar, SBS Nagar, and Ghumar Mandi.

Arora held a total of 11 poll meetings, engaging with shopkeepers, businessmen, MSMEs, and residents. The meetings were attended by several notable figures including Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) Chairman Tarsem Singh Bhinder, Shubham Gupta, Manav Goyal, Damanjeet Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Dr. Assim Gupta, Dr. Sunil, Paramjit Singh, Sheru Gogia, Balwinder Singh, and Pawan Batra.

The final meeting of the day was held at Ghumar Mandi Market, where LIT Chairman Tarsem Singh Bhinder praised Arora’s dedication and achievements over the past three years. He highlighted key development projects initiated and pursed under Arora’s leadership, including the Halwara Airport, elevated road, cycle track, 700 parking slots, and upgrades to both the Civil and ESI Hospitals.

Bhinder emphasised that Ludhiana had been lagging behind for the past three decades due to a lack of effective leadership, but under Arora, the city’s development has gained momentum. He urged residents to support Arora to further empower AAP’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.

Interestingly, Arora began his address by inviting attendees to voice their issues first. A few civic grievances were raised, which he promised to resolve within a day or so. He remarked that he's personally reaching out to residents to address long-pending issues.

He also shared that during public meetings, citizens often remind him of projects he forgets to mention—an indication, he said, of their awareness and appreciation of his work.
