Sanskriti KMV School convenes its Annual Award Ceremony

Jalandhar, October 15, 2024: On the auspicious occasion of the 22nd Founder's Day, Sanskriti KMV School convened its Annual Award Ceremony on Tuesday, to honour the academic and athletic accomplishments of the 2023-24 session.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of chief guest, Chander Mohan, President of the Arya Shiksha Mandal, alongside Niraja Mohan and other distinguished dignitaries, including Dr. Sushma Chawla (Vice President), Dhruv Mittal (Treasurer), Dr. Atima Sharma Dvivedi (Manager), and S.P. Gupta (Member).

The ceremony commenced with an eloquent welcome from Rachna Monga (Principal), who articulated her profound gratitude to the guests for their steadfast support and unwavering commitment to the institution. The ritual lighting of the lamp, performed by the Chief Guest, the Principal, and the other dignitaries, symbolized the dispelling of ignorance and the illumination of knowledge, heralding a celebration of enlightenment and scholarly achievement

A melodious rendition of Saraswati Vandana by the students set a reverent tone for the proceedings, paying homage to the goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Following this, Rachna Monga (Principal), presented the Annual Report, articulating the Institution's remarkable journey over the past year, highlighting academic accomplishments, extracurricular successes, and the holistic development of its students.

During the ceremony, 246 Academic Awards were presented to outstanding students from grades 6 to 12. Additionally, 78 Sports Awards recognized exceptional athletes. The event featured a captivating classical music performance by the students, showcasing their musical talent. A patriotic dance performance further highlighted the spirit of unity and pride among the students.

One of the students has etched his name in history. Rachit Aggarwal secured the 1st position in Punjab for JEE Mains 2024, achieving an impressive All India Rank of 25. He further distinguished himself in JEE Advanced, attaining an exceptional All India Rank of 98. Additionally, three other students—Janvi, Vyomkesh, and Harkamal Singh Lubana—achieved commendable ranks in the JEE examinations.

The institution also proudly commemorates the accomplishments of five national champions, who were awarded a cash prize of 10 lakh by the Punjab Sports Department (Government of Punjab) for their outstanding performances at the 37th National Games held in Goa in 2023, organized by the Indian Olympic Association. Moreover, six of our kickboxing athletes were awarded a cash prize of 65,000 for their commendable achievements in the Khed Vatan Punjab event, also orchestrated by the Punjab Sports Department.

Chander Mohan extended his heartfelt congratulations and bestowed his blessings upon the achievers for their exemplary performances in both academics and athletics. His commendations were imbued with profound admiration, reflecting the diligence and dedication exhibited by the students in their respective pursuits. The atmosphere was charged with a palpable sense of pride as he acknowledged their remarkable accomplishments, which not only underscored their intellectual prowess but also showcased their athletic excellence.
