Sanskriti KMV School holds annual athletic meet 2019, marking national mission of Fit India Movement
Jalandhar, November 30, 2019; Sanskriti KMV School held Annual Athletic Meet 2019, marking the national mission of Fit India Movement. Chander Mohan, President, Arya Shiksha Mandal inaugurated the event on a grand note. Dr Mrs Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Manager, Dr S.P. Gupta, Member, Sanskriti KMV School Managing Committee and other dignitaries were also present. On this day, Dr Girish Bali, Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, also gave his generous presence. He felicitated the winners of various event in the closing ceremony hour. Athletic Event gave platform to more than 1000 students from grade Nursery to XII, to perform in various athletic events, with an excellent ground for competition. National, state and zonal level players were awarded for their outstanding contribution by Chander Mohan. The event commenced with the March Past by the four houses. With the symbolic run of the Torch Flame and the release of balloons, martinet team and the students took oath in the true spirit of the games. The event comprised athletic events, such as fun races for kindergarten and 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m races, relay races and long jump for senior students. Yoga display and martial art presentation by nearly 200 students was an excellent presentation. Cultural blend was added through fusion dance presentation by students and teachers. The show was a real blend of energy, stamina, strength, focus, team work and passion, symbolizing a message for a healthy mind and body. Chander Mohan, appreciated the hard work of all the players. He congratulated the winners of Sports Excellence Awards. Shivankar Pratap Singh, VIII, declared as Sports Star of Sanskriti KMV School. Other awarded students were - Harishika, IX (Athletics), Gurpreet Singh Madhey, XI (Basket Ball), Shorya, II (Chess), Diyanshu, VI (Cricket), Nimat Mehmi, X (Fencing), Sehajveer Singh, XII (Football), Gurpreet Saini, XI (Karate), Yug Dhall, VIII(Taekwondo), Kartik, VIII(Table Tennis), Deepak Mahey, XI ( Volley Ball) . Dr. Girish Bali, Additional Commissioner Of Income Tax, announced the Best Athlete Boy, Gurpreet Singh Madhey, XI and Best Athlete Girl, Kiran, XII for the all round best performance in sports. Pawak House was declared Overall Best House and Best Sports House. Dr. Girish Bali, mentioned in his message, that school is playing an excellent role in the society by providing various spheres of learning on one ground. Rachna Monga, Principal, extended her gratitude to the Chnader Mohan, Dr Girish Bali and dignitaries. She mentioned that the honest approach towards the duties can only make each one of us successful.
