‘Sanskriti KMV School students immerse in Delhi's Historic Splendor
Amidst the hustle and bustle of Delhi's vibrant streets, twenty students from Sanskriti KMV School embarked on a journey of cultural exploration and historical discovery. Led by passionate educators, this educational excursion aimed to explore the rich cultural heritage and historical landmarks of India's capital city.
Jalandhar, February 19, 2024: Amidst the hustle and bustle of Delhi's vibrant streets, twenty students from Sanskriti KMV School embarked on a journey of cultural exploration and historical discovery. Led by passionate educators, this educational excursion aimed to explore the rich cultural heritage and historical landmarks of India's capital city.
During the trip, the students had the privilege of visiting several iconic landmarks, including the majestic Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, India Gate, a poignant memorial commemorating the sacrifices of Indian soldiers.
Furthermore, the students experienced spiritual enlightenment at Bangla Sahib Gurudwara. At Raj Ghat, the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, they paid homage to the Father of the Nation. The excursion also included a visit to Red Fort, a symbol of India's rich Mughal heritage and an exhilarating experience riding the Delhi Metro.
Principal, Rachna Monga, emphasized the importance of such experiential learning opportunities in shaping students' understanding of their cultural heritage and instilling a sense of pride in their identity as Indians. She expressed her delight in accompanying the students on this memorable journey and witnessing their enthusiasm for learning.
