Saplings planted on Van-Mahotsav in SRS Govt Polytechnic College, girls Ludhiana to commemorate 75th years of Independence

Ludhiana: Van-Mahotsav was celebrated in Satguru Ram Singh Govt. Polytechnic College, Rishi Nagar on this occasion, the chief guest, Balkar Singh Sandhu, Mayor municipal Corporation Ludhiana and Raman Bala Subramaniam Chairman Improvement Trust Ludhiana jointly planted saplings to commemorate 75th years of Independence and to save environment. He expressed his views and said that the trees planted today will be a blessing for the coming generation. He inspired the staff and students that everyone should plant a tree and take care of its upbringing. Humans get invaluable oxygen from these trees. By planting a tree, everyone plays a role of life giver. These are dreams of our freedom fighters and ancestors that we should fulfil. The trees provide us with fruits, flowers, wood that are necessary from birth to last rites. Therefore it is very important to save trees, waters abnd girl child in today's time.
The college Principal M.P Singh welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries and said that this programme is dedicated to 75th years of Independence that will start from 15 August and will be in continuation. He expressed his gratitude to the guests, dignitaries and students for arriving on this occasion.
On this occasion special guests Kanu Sharma Principal TCKT Ludhiana, and S.A. Khaan , Jaspreet Kaur, Manoj Kumar Jambla, Sukhwinderpal Singh, Suman Lata, Jasvir Singh, Lakhvir and Madan Lal were present.
