`Sarkar Tuhade Dwar’ camp held in Gurusar Sudhar
In line with the Punjab Government's "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" program, a camp was held in Gurusar Sudhar on Friday to provide government services directly to the people at their native places.
Ludhiana, July 19, 2024: In line with the Punjab Government's "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" program, a camp was held in Gurusar Sudhar on Friday to provide government services directly to the people at their native places.
The camp was inaugurated by MLA Hakam Singh Thekedar along with ADC Jagraon Charandeep Singh, SDM Raikot Beant Singh Sidhu and others.
Several applications regarding pension for specially-abled, old-age pensions, widow pensions and others were approved during ‘sarkar tuhade dwar’ camp.
Halwara resident Harvinder Singh, who had arrived in the camp with his mother Amritpal Kaur for her widow pension, received prompt approval from the officials. He thanked the state government for holding the camp here. Pritam Kaur from Sudhar also got the widow pension card of her mother Swaran Kaur in the camp and expressed gratitude towards the government. Sarbjeet Kaur of Tugal village also obtained the sanction letter for the pension for her specially-abled daughter in the camp. She hailed the campaign of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for facilitating the poor people by delivering the services at their doorsteps.
MLA Hakam Singh Thekedar mentioned that the camps are being held in every week and involve officials from various government departments, including revenue, sewa kendras, social justice, empowerment and minorities, social security and development of women and children, agriculture and farmers’ welfare, health, water supply and sanitation, PSPCL, DBEE, rural development and panchayats, food supply labour and police. During the camp, he also handed over sanctioned letters of pensions and senior citizen cards.
