Under the "Sarkar Aapke Dwar" flagship campaign started by the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, a camp was organized in Issru village by district administration.

Issru (Ludhiana), July 23, 2024: Under the "Sarkar Aapke Dwar" flagship campaign started by the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, a camp was organized in Issru village by district administration. 

Khanna MLA Tarunpreet Singh Sond, Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney, and SSP Amneet Kondal listened to people's grievances, and issues of immediate nature were solved on the spot. Besides this, they also handed over sanctioned letters of new SC certificates, pensions, and senior citizen cards. 

Hardeep Singh, resident of Issru village received the SC certificate immediately from the officials after filing the application in the camp. Residents Rajinder Singh of Rohno Khurd, Kirpal Singh of Tonsa, Naib Singh, and Harjinder Singh of Issru also got the sanction letters for their old-age pensions. They expressed gratitude towards the government for holding the camp there.

Davinder Singh of Aloona Miana thanked the government for the camp as he got prompt approval for a specially-abled pension. The applications of Gurmel Singh of Haul, Bhupinder Singh of Rasulra, and Jaswant Kaur for senior citizen cards were also approved in the camp, and sanction letters were handed over to them. They hailed the campaign of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for facilitating the poor people by delivering the services at their doorsteps.

MLA and Deputy Commissioner, while visiting each desk set up by the departments, directed them to keep a record of every application and also apprise the people about the welfare schemes run by the government so that they can avail maximum benefit.

MLA Tarunpreet Singh Sond mentioned that the camps are being held every week and involve officials from various government departments, including revenue, sewa kendras, social justice, empowerment and minorities, social security and development of women and children, agriculture and farmers’ welfare, health, water supply and sanitation, PSPCL, DBEE, rural development and panchayats, food supply labour, and police. 

The DC emphasized Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann's commitment to ensuring that government services and schemes reach the masses, and announced to hold more such camps across the district. She urged people to participate in these camps.
