Sarkar Tuhade Dwar Camp held in Salaudi
Continuing its effort to bring government services directly to the people at their native places, a camp was organized in Salaudi Village as part of the Punjab Government's "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" program on Tuesday.
Ludhiana, July 16, 2024: Continuing its effort to bring government services directly to the people at their native places, a camp was organized in Salaudi Village as part of the Punjab Government's "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" program on Tuesday.
During the camp, officials approved various applications such as senior citizen cards, old-age pensions, widow pensions, and a new electricity transformer on the spot.
Village residents Balwinder Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur and Kuldeep Kaur received prompt approval for their old-age pensions during the camp. Sohan Singh and Balwinder Singh also got senior citizen cards , while Gurmeet Singh, Harnek Singh and Shingara Singh also successfully received approval for new electricity transformer for their loaclity.
MLA Jagtar Singh Dyalpura, DC Sakshi Sawhney, SSP Amneet Kondal, ADC Anmol Singh Dhaliwal, mentioned that the camps are being held in every week and involve officials from various government departments, including Revenue, Sewa Kendras, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, Social Security and Development of Women and Children, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Health, Water Supply and Sanitation, PSPCL, Rural Development and Panchayats, Food Supply Labour and Police. These officials not only provide on-the-spot services but also address any grievances that people may have.
MLA and DC emphasized the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann's commitment to ensuring that government services and schemes reach the masses, and announced to hold more such camps across the district. They urged people to participate in these camps.
During the camp, they also handed over sanction letters of pensions and senior citizen cards.
