The purpose of this seminar is to improve the quality of higher education. In order to increase the quality of education, we have to integrate book language along with technology, but before taking all steps, we must make changes in ourselves. These symposiums will also help in elevating the standard of academic education. In academic inspection, on the one hand, enrollment of students in the institute as well as percentage of success from academic achievement will be examined. While delivering the inaugural address Chief Guest Sarvesh Kaushal (Special Chief Secretary-cum-Director General, MGSIPA, Chandigarh) said that by the time the primary education does not improve, it is also dishonest to think of increasing the quality of higher education. If the level of primary and secondary education is correct then the condition and direction of higher education will be improved. Today education is being seen to be combined with employment, it is wrong. The purpose of education is to develop ethics and to thrive in the thread of spirituality. Chief Guest Dr. Sarvesh Kaushal, for the qualitative improvement in higher education, told that higher education is not needed for the degree but for the advancement and best development of self. For this, it is necessary to improve the examination system and eliminate the ideological differences between the teacher and the student and bring about totality in knowledge.

Simultaneously, Sarvesh Kaushal told culture and ethics play a great role in higher education. Also, inter-disciplinary relations shoukd be established. At present, our knowledge has ceased. There is also a need to improve the methods of teaching, training and testing to improve higher education. Now the methods of teaching are decided at the state level. Classroom teaching skills are either denied or considered as circumstantial. The responsibility for good training should be entrusted to the distinguished, qualified and competent trainers. In order to take effective steps in the direction of implementing comprehensive techniques of testing (evaluation) by implementing innovative methods of teaching, making them effective in the training of teachers, it is necessary that in every state a 'educational reference' And resource center to be developed.

While delivering the keynote address Prof (Dr) M Rajiv Lochan, Director IQAC, Punjab University, Chandigarh discussed various objectives and methodologies of Academic and Administrative Audit. He said that World class Universities or institutions of
eminence cannot be built overnight or legislated into existence. For that strict and continuous Audit of Academic and Administrative process should be adopted. AAA evaluate the utilization of financial resources, suggests the methods for continuous improvement of quality keeping in mind criteria and reports by NAAC and other bodies. He also presented detailed information regarding periodicity, process, outcome and criteria of AAA.

Former Justice NK Sood, Chairman of the DAV Local Advisory Committee, while keeping his views about the seminar, he said that we just don't need to know the higher education but we have to learn it because learning is important for us. There is a permanent change in character, which will go a long way in our best. The time has come that the level of education should be raised and that education should be converted into higher education. He said such seminars proved to be helpful in improving the level of education.
