Sat Paul Mittal School students visit SDSC – SHAR ISRO Sriharikota
The students from Science Stream of Classes IX-XII of Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana recently had the privilege of visiting the Satish Dhawan Space Centre – Sriharikota Range (SDSC – SHAR) ISRO, one of India's leading space centre. 20 students of Sat Paul Mittal School had honor to be a part of the visit from July 24-26.
Ludhiana, July 30, 2024: The students from Science Stream of Classes IX-XII of Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana recently had the privilege of visiting the Satish Dhawan Space Centre – Sriharikota Range (SDSC – SHAR) ISRO, one of India's leading space centre. 20 students of Sat Paul Mittal School had honor to be a part of the visit from July 24-26.
During this educational visit, the students got the opportunity to interact with the ISRO scientists which helped them to gain information about the upcoming Indian space missions, space exploration and cutting-edge technology. The students participated in a variety of activities, including guided tours of the state-of-the-art facility and demonstrations showcasing the latest advancements in space research. The students also explored various sections of the space center, including the launch pad and mission control room popularly known as heart of ISRO and observed the preparations for upcoming satellite launches. The trip aimed to enhance the students' understanding of space science and inspire them to pursue careers in this exciting field.
