SATINDER SARTAJ mesmerised Ludhianvis

Ludhiana, March 2, 2013: Noted singer Satinder Sartaj mesmerised the audience with his “live” performance on stage at Guru Nanak Bhawan here on Saturday. 

He was beautifully dressed up.

What to speak of his wardrobe even the audience was got attracted a lot with his complete personality.

He began his performance with a Punjabi song “kudiyo kudiyo royia na karo dubb jaanio”, in which he narrated the plight of girls. The audience got emotional after listening to this song.

Sartaj also sung many other songs including the famous one “Sai ve saadi fariyad tere’.

He also sang songs from his latest album. These  were; “Subha mandar sham nun theke…..”, “Jad jikr tera hove dukh bolan lagde ne” and “Mein likhna chahunda haan koyee dard gariban da”.

Renowned industrialists, artists, prominent citizens and others were among the audience. The venue was completely jam packed.

The event was organised by Punjab Cultural Society under the presidentship of Ravinder Ranguwal.

The entry was free but through passes.

The motive of organising the event was to promote neat and clean Punjabi singing among the masses.

On the occasion, the Society honoured Dubai-based hotelier SP Singh Oberoi, who was instrumental in securing the release of 17 men convicted for the murder of a Pakistani in UAE, had earlier saved the lives of 37 people from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philippines and India in similar cases.

He said oberoi had also been rendering other services to the society such as providing better education and solemnising the marriages of girls belonging to financially challenged families.
