Children from Satya Bharti Schools competed with the students from more than 300 renowned schools and roboclubs from India and other countriesin the World Robotics Championship, Technoxian 6.0 in affiliation with the Ministry of Science and Technology (Government of India) and All India Council for Robotics and Automation.

Ludhiana, August 26, 2022: Children from Satya Bharti Schools competed with the students from more than 300 renowned schools and roboclubs from India and other countriesin the World Robotics Championship, Technoxian 6.0 in affiliation with the Ministry of Science and Technology (Government of India) and All India Council for Robotics and Automation.

Satya Bharti Schools, the flagship program of Bharti Foundation, have been designed to provide quality education free of cost to the underprivileged children in the rural pockets of India. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises and has been proactively working since 2000 to improve accessibility to quality education and provide holistic development of the school children. All Satya Bharti Schools have computer labs and Senior Secondary Schools in Punjab have been aided with Advanced Technology/Robotic Labs to improve STEM skills in the children while developing their analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Ed-tech enablement in Satya Bharti Schools have led to enriching learning experiences for the students. A total of 17 children from Satya Bharti elementary schools in Khanpur and Mohie (Ludhiana) and senior secondary schools in Rauni, Fatubillah, Jhaneri, Sherpur Kalan, Chogawan participated in Robotics Maze Solver and Robo Race competitions under Technoxian 6.0. The robots were designed by these students who received regular training in the technology labs by specialized Robotics trainers.

Over the years, Bharti Foundation has built a collaborative system with technology partners to bring change in the teaching learning processes in the schools. Focus is on the use of technology to support quality teaching and learning sessions for the school children in rural areas through digital classrooms with the help of smart TV, computer labs, computer education programs, digital academic content and technology. The students get hands-on experience in robotics, coding, gaming, 3D modelling and more. The labs are equipped with 3D modelling kits, printers and laptops. Various corporates have supported in the provision of materials and resources for holistic development of the school children.
