SBI RBO Mohali organizes branch level meeting “bankers meet”
Mohali, August 18, 2019: State Bank of India (SBI) RBO Mohali conducted a discussion session including the branches within its jurisdiction to generate ideas and review bank performance aligned with national priorities as per Director Financial Services (DFS) GoI. The first-of-its-kind discussion which happened on 17th & 18thAugust was a deliberate effort in designing the first stage of the bottom-up consultative process of the bank. In SBI Mohali RBO, the discussion session with Branch Managers was attended by Rajeev Arora, General Manager NW 1 form LHO Chandigarh and Sumit Roy, Regional Manager Mohali RBO. The primary objective of this meeting was to identify and finalise ways & means to increase credit to various sectors of the economy, enhance use of technology to bring about innovation and enable big data analytics, and make banking citizen-centric as well as more responsive to the needs and aspiration of senior citizens, farmers, small industries, enterprises, youth, students & women. The participants collectively identified many implementable and innovative suggestions which can help to improve bank’s performance and establish future roadmap. These suggestions were collated and have been sent to the LHO for further discussions at the SLBC/State level, along with comparative performance assessment of the branches.
