Ludhiana, February 21, 2015: S.C.D Government College, Ludhiana is all set to host the 2nd National Seminar on “Advancement In Information Technology and Innovations in Management” on February 24.

The focus will be on the topics that are of contemporary interest to computer and computational scientists and engineers. The primary focus is on recent advances and innovations in the field of Information Technology and management. The seminar will bring together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry and government to deliberate upon the algorithmic, systemic, applied, social, and educational aspects of Information Technology. It will be great opportunity to the teachers and students of Computer sciences/Commerce and Management of universities and colleges to participate and share their views on different aspects. More than 80 papers will be presented in the four technical sessions of the Seminar. The Seminar will be inaugurated by Dr. Roshan Sunkaria, Principal Secretary Higher Education, Government of Punjab and Dr. Pushpinder Singh Gill, Senior Professor in the School of Management Studies, Punjabi University Patiala along with Dr. Tankeshwar Kumar, UGC Professor at Panjab University Chandigarh will deliver the Key note addresses.

While giving the details about the Seminar Dr. Dharm Singh, Principal of the College said that Dr. Kulbhushan Chandel, Chairman of School of Commerce, Himachal Pradesh University Shimla, Dr. Raj Kumar, Professor in Government College Sanjoli (HP), Dr. Harish Kumar, Professor in University Insititute of Engineering and Technology Panjab University Chandigarh and Dr. Akashdeep, Associate Professor, University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University Chandigarh will be the chairing the technical sessions.

Dr. Ashwani Bhalla, Seminar Convener said  that valedictory session will be delivered by Dr. Tejinder Sharma, Professor in the Department of Commerce , Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra and valedictory session will be presided by the Dr. Pawan Kumar, Controller of Examination, Punjabi University, Patiala and Dr. Parvinder Singh Controller of Examination Panjab  University Chandigarh will be the Guest of honour.
