School of Law, CT University celebrates National Voters’ Day
In order to encourage more young voters to take part in the political process, School of Law, CT University celebrated national voter's day by taking 'oath for vote' followed by screening of an ECI song- “Main Bharat Hoon- Hum Bharat Ke Matdata Hain '' which brought forth the power of vote and celebrated the spirit of inclusive, accessible, ethical, participative and festive elections in the largest and most vibrant democracy of the world. Students formed human chain for NVD to spread the message of 'Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for Sure'.

Government of India has decided to celebrate January 25 every year as 'National Voters' Day'. It has been started from 25 January 2011 to mark the foundation day of Election Commission of India.
Dr. Simranjeet K Gill, Principal School of Law, CT University encouraged the budding lawyers to vote and take part fairly in the electoral process.
On this occasion Dr. Manbir Singh, Pro Chancellor CT University encouraged the young minds to vote and choose the correct representative without being influenced by considerations of religion, caste, race etc.
