The event aimed to foster a love for science and exploration among the young minds.
The Nursery students' models exhibited a delightful understanding of fundamental concepts, ranging from the intricacies of Body parts and Sense Organs to the diversity of Types of houses and the towering structures of Skyscrapers. Their exploration extended to the natural world with models depicting Fruits with seeds, Farmhouses, and various Types of birds. Furthermore, the inclusion of models on Seed germination, Parts of plants, and Sources of water demonstrated the breadth of their inquisitive minds.
The LKG students' presentations, showcased a deeper understanding of scientific principles. Their models on the Solar System, Pollution, and Day and Night reflected a grasp of celestial and environmental concepts. The intricate models of the Food Chain and Magnets demonstrated their ability to comprehend complex systems, while representations of Parts of Plants and the Water Cycle displayed a commendable grasp of biological processes. The exploration of various Sources of water added a practical and environmental dimension to their exhibits.
The UKG students delved into more advanced topics, illustrating a keen interest in Earth's dynamics. Models on Rotation of Earth, Greenhouse Effect, and Water Pollution demonstrated an awareness of global phenomena. The inclusion of Biodegradable and Non-Biodegradable waste showcased an understanding of environmental responsibility. Exhibits on the Revolution of Earth, Plants, and the Life cycle of Butterfly highlighted their botanical understanding, while models portraying the Food Pyramid and the Process of Photosynthesis emphasized their grasp of ecological processes. Furthermore, their models encouraging environmental awareness, such as Save Earth, Volcano Eruption, and First Aid, showcased a holistic approach to science education, encompassing both natural phenomena and practical life-saving skills.
The event was graced by Anju Uppal, from the Science Department of Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar, who served as the Guest of the day. The efforts of both the young students and their supportive parents were praised by the chief guest. Deepti Kaushal, coordinator of the school, acknowledged the students' hard work and creativity, highlighting the importance of such exhibitions in nurturing a scientific temperament from a young age. She emphasized the role of parents in encouraging their children's interest in science.
