Science Exhibition to mark National Science Day
The Department of Microbial Biotechnology, South Campus, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized a Science Exhibition as a part of celebrations to mark the National Science Day (theme “Global Science for Global Wellbeing”), and the Panjab University Y-20 youth fortnight (theme “Innovation and 21st century skills”) on February 28, 2023, 10 am – 1 pm.

Chandigarh, March 1, 2023: The Department of Microbial Biotechnology, South Campus, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized a Science Exhibition as a part of celebrations to mark the National Science Day (theme “Global Science for Global Wellbeing”), and the Panjab University Y-20 youth fortnight (theme “Innovation and 21st century skills”) on February 28, 2023, 10 am – 1 pm.
During this event, the students presented science posters, research ideas, science models and science-theme rangoli. Awareness posters on infection prevention, rational use of antibiotic use and problems of antibiotic resistance were also displayed for general public.
The event was judged by Dr. Sudhir P. Singh, Scientist D, Centre of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB), Mohali and Dr. Deepak B. Salunke, Dept of Chemistry, Panjab University. The event was attended by faculty members from Panjab University and nearby institutes, industry delegates, department alumni, Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate students.
