Scrap cutting of currency notes found from pomegranate bags

Khanna, September 17, 2022: The scrap cutting of currency notes from pomegranate bags in fruit and vegetables market in Khanna left the police in a tizzy. This scrap cutting was of 100, 200 and 500 notes.
A team of CIA staff reached the spot and questioned the fruit seller. From whom the fruits were bought was also questioned. The police took possession of this cutting and started investigation.
Kuljit Singh, a fruit seller, said that he had brought a pomegranate bags from Khanna Mandi, and scrap of notes came out of it. The police have come to the spot and are investigating.
On the other hand, CIA staff in-charge Hemant Kumar said that a similar case had also come up in Bathinda. They have spoken to the Bathinda police officials. It is coming from Kullu Mandi. The fruit traders of Kullu Mandi buy these cuttings from Patiala. Patiala people have a contract with RBI. The rest are still being thoroughly investigated.
