SDMs solicit fulsome support of people to make war against drugs huge success
Under the War against Drugs program started by the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Sub-Divisional Magistrates of Ludhiana on Tuesday held face to face interactions with people in various villages of the district to get their fulsome support for wiping out drug menace besides carried out awareness rallies and visited OOAT centres.

Ludhiana, March 4, 2025: Under the War against Drugs program started by the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Sub-Divisional Magistrates of Ludhiana on Tuesday held face to face interactions with people in various villages of the district to get their fulsome support for wiping out drug menace besides carried out awareness rallies and visited OOAT centres.
Addressing the gathering during the meetings, SDMs Jasleen Kaur Bhullar, Poonampreet Kaur, Dr Baljinder Singh Dhillon, Pardeep Bains, urged the people to be an active part of this program and spread the message against drug abuse. They added that now the time has come when all of us must join hands to ensure that the curse was wiped out completely. They stated that the basic motive of organizing these interactions was to galvanize the people for this noble cause and ensure that the message of the anti-drug crusade was spread in every nook and corner of the district.
The SDMs expressed hope that as the brave, hard-working and resilient people had extended help to the government for eliminating terrorism from the state, in the same manner, the scourge of drugs would also be routed out with their active support and cooperation.
The SDMs also inspected the services being offered in the OOAT centres falling under their jurisdiction. They also interacted with patients and staff to check any deficiency.
