Second dose of Covid-19 Vaccination started in Kangra district: CMO
So far 11268 health workers and 2809 front line workers have been vaccinated in the district for the first dose till date
Dharamshala: Chief Medical Officer Dr. Gurudarshan Gupta said that 816 health workers were given a second dose of Covid-19 vaccination in district Kangra on Monday. The Chief Medical Officer said that so far 11268 health workers and 2809 front line workers have been vaccinated in the district for the first dose till date.
“I have not yet reported any serious side effects to the beneficiaries. This vaccination process will continue even further. Today additional supplies of Covid vaccine have become available. Now the adequate stock of vaccines is available,” said CMO.
He further added that today on the second day of Pulse Polio campaign. Polio drops were given to 4450 children. So far, 119346 children have been given polio medicine in the district. This campaign will continue tomorrow, he said.
