In view of upcoming MCs elections on December 21, the second round of randomisation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) was held in the presence of political representatives, at the Bachat Bhawan, here today.

Ludhiana, December 16, 2024: In view of upcoming MCs elections on December 21, the second round of randomisation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) was held in the presence of political representatives, at the Bachat Bhawan, here today.

The randomisation was held in the presence of District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal and representatives of several political parties.

Deputy Commissioner stated that EVMs  machines equal to the number of polling booths were randomised today, besides an additional CUs and BUs have been kept on reserve that can be used in case any machine malfunctions. Randomisation process of EVMs machines was shown to the representatives of various political parties.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Amarjit Bains, CM Field Officer Kritika Goyal and others were also present during the randomisation.
