seminar on “Tax Awareness Programme”

Ludhiana, August 25, 2012: A very informative seminar on “Tax Awareness Programme” was organised by the Ludhiana Branch of NIRC of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India at ICAI Bhawan, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana.

CA. Sanjay ‘Voice of CA’ Agarwal ( Chairman- Direct Taxes Committee, ICAI) and CA. Sidharth Jain (Eminent Speaker, New Delhi) were the Guest Speakers on this occasion and CA. Subhash Jain (Ludhiana) (Member- Direct Taxes Committee- ICAI) was also present as a “Special Invitee”on this Occasion.

The event started with welcome address by Ludhiana Branch Chairman CA. Jasminder Singh who shared the perspective initiatives to be taken by Ludhiana Branch for the members and the CA students.

After that CA. Sanjay’ Voice of CA’ Agarwal  (Chairman- Direct Taxes Committee, ICAI) gave a talk on the Topic “Overview on Survey, Search & Seizure”. He explained its implications and answered the queries of audience.

After that CA. Sidharth Jain (Eminent Speaker, New Delhi) gave a talk on the Topic “Issue in Tax Audit”. He explained its implications and answered the queries of audience.

The participants not only immensely benefited from the insights of the speaker but received answers to their questions as well. Many Chartered Accountants including members from Practice and Industry from Ludhiana, Khanna, Gobindgarh, Moga and surrounding areas attended the Seminar.
