Jalandhar, November 9, 2012: A two day DEFCOM-2012 was organised jointly by Corps of Signals and Confederation of the Indian Industry (CII) which concluded today at Manekshaw Centre, Delhi Cantt.
The seminar brought together the Defence service personnels, the best of academia and commercial enterprises with specialisation in military applications.
The seminar attracted over 1,000 attendees from Defence services, industry and academia.
In addition to technical sessions, workshop session and HR session, DEFCOM 2012 also included exhibits from more than 30 of the world’s leading industry of high technology solutions and communication technology.
Over a period of two days eminent persons from Indian Industry, Academia, Luminaries from R&D org and Defence officers discussed communication related issues as relevant to Indian Army in Tactical Battle Area.
The seminar immensely benefited all participants and highlighted the user aspirations and requirements, and promise industry to convert these in to concrete objectives and plans in near future.
