Seminar on latest trends in information technology

Mohali, October 20, 2019: Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase 2 organized seminar on Latest Trends in Information Technology at its Campus. 

Damanpreet Singh, a Senior Test Analyst at FIS Global, Mohali was the Keynote Speaker on the occasion.  He made students aware about the different options available in the IT Industry like PHP, dot net, Testing, Cloud Computing, Mobile Computing and Applications, Big Data Analytics, Automation etc.  He also gave suggestions and tips to students that how to prepare for the technical Interview after BCA & MCA.  He also gave information about Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Cyber Privacy and Security, Internet of Things and Career Options in Information Technology. The growth in this industry and the projected technology movements call for more workers who are qualified to contribute to data mining or even cloud computing. According to him information technology is progressing and opening new possibilities for careers. For 2019 and beyond, the latest trends in information technology will produce new opportunities for management, support, development, and more in companies.

Chairman GJIMT J.S.Bedi said at the moment that  because of all pervasive usage of Internet nowadays , there is also a need for securing the Internet so that it can be used with confidence and trust. He stressed for strong and unique password for every individual user.
