Seminar related to women safety titled “How Safe Am I at My Workplace?” 

Chandigarh September 19, 2024: Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital today organized a seminar related to women safety titled "How Safe Am I at My Workplace?". 

The event was organised by the Dental Institute in association with the Panjab University Alumni Association and The Institutions Innovation Council at the Lecture Theatre 1 (LT-1) at the Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital, South Campus, Panjab University.

The seminar was led by Dr. Nimisha Nagpal, a renowned eye surgeon, who focused on the safety of healthcare professionals in workplace environments. Attendees gained valuable insights into risk management, safety protocols, and strategies to ensure a secure and healthy work environment for medical and dental professionals. Candles were also lit in solidarity.

The seminar was open to all and attracted a large number of students, faculty, and professionals from across the University. Among the notable attendees were Dr. Deepak Kumar Gupta (Director and Principal of Dr. HSJIDS), Prof. Latika Sharma (Dean, Alumni Relations), and Dr. Nandita Singh. They expressed their appreciation for the critical insights shared by Dr. Nagpal, and emphasized the importance of workplace safety, especially in healthcare settings.

Dr. Nagpal’s session touched upon important aspects such as physical safety, mental health, and legal considerations that are necessary to create a safe and effectiveworkplace environment. 

The seminar was followed by light refreshments and tea.
