Seminar on Stock Exchange

Jalandhar, January 18, 2018: The Commerce Department of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized a one day Seminar on Stock Exchange in collaboration with ICICI Centre of Financial Learning. Mr.Rakesh Sharma, Regional Marketing Manager, ICICI Securities, was the Resource Person.
He was accorded a floral welcome by Dr.Sucharita Sharma, Principal and Dr.Monika Arora, Head, PG Department of Commerce. Principal Dr.Sucharita remarked that it is imperative for the Commerce students to keep abreast of the continuous flux in Sock Exchange. Mr. Sharma not only acquainted the students with the nuances of Stock Exchange but also told the youngsters about the Stock Mind Game, an app that deals with online working of Stock Exchange. Stock Mind Game involves opening an Online Account of the students, trading for 7 days and the student with the highest Net Worth would be the winner. The winner would get a Cash Prize of Rs. 50,000 and a trip to Thailand.
The event, an overall success, concluded with Principal Dr Sucharita applauding the efforts of the students and the staff.
