Ludhiana/Jalandhar: Former minister Punjab and former state BJP president Manoranjan Kalia has expressed deep shock and grief over the sudden demise of Senior Punjab BJP leader and former Chairman of the Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation (PSIEC) Shakti Sharma.

In a statement, Kalia said that he has lost a friend who had worked with him in various organizational capacities in BJYM and BJP.

“May the departed soul rest in peace and the Almighty give courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss”, he added.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased leader will be cremated at 2.30 pm on February 24 at cremation ground, on Gill Road, Ludhiana, said the party’s media chief for Ludhiana.
