Ludhiana, September 30, 2012: Senior Citizen Social Welfare Society, Urban Estate, Focal Point, Ludhiana is celebrating the International Senior Citizen Day on October 01 and organising get together of their members with their spouses at Preet Bhoj at Senior Citizen Club that is being constructed by GLADA authorities.
According to the society’s president Basant Singh, at the get together, the GLADA officers with chief engineer being the Guest of Honour, will be honoured as a social gesture.
He added the society is conducting monthly meetings for the last more than two years, where seminars on various subjects of health care such as cancer, diabetes, blood pressure, and causes and initial stage remedies for prevention of heart disease are discussed where expert doctors are invited from time to time.
