Chandigarh, December 17, 2024: The SPSS “Seven Days Workshop on Data Analysis” using SPSS concluded at Panjab University (PU). The SPSS workshop was organized by the Department of Statistics.
As many as 42 faculty members, research scholars and students from different Departments of Panjab University and neighboring institutes like PEC, PGIMER, Chandigarh etc participated in the workshop and improved their theoretical/ practical knowledge. Moreover, the participants were from diverse disciplines such as Medical, Dental, Political Science, Education, Economics, Zoology, Commerce and Business Studies.
The resource persons for the workshop were Prof. Suresh K.Sharma, Prof. Narinder Kumar, Dr. Anju Goyal and Mr. Harminder Singh Deosi of Department of Statistics. The participants were awarded with certificates on successful completion of the workshop.
Highlighting the workshop’s significance, Prof. Narinder Kumar, Chairperson of the Department of Statistics, and Dr. Anju Goyal, Coordinator, Department of Statistics, Panjab University, Chandigarh emphasised the importance of data analysis.
