Seven killed as private bus rolled down to deep gorge in Chamba district
CM says financial assistance of four lakh rupees will be given to the family of the deceased
Dharamshala: A private bus plunged into a deep gorge in Teesa, an inaccessible area in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. According to reliable information, there were about 16 people on board the bus, out of which five died on the spot, while two died in the hospital. Eight people are seriously injured in the accident, which have been undergoing treatment at the Chamba hospital. Police and Administration immediately rushed to the spot as soon as the accident was reported. The local people also started rescue work.
Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, Deputy Speaker of Legislative Assembly and Churah MLA Hansraj have expressed grief over the accident. The Chief Minister said that financial assistance of four lakh rupees will be given to the family of the deceased in the accident. Apart from this, all possible help will also be given to the injured.
